Arsenal, Tottenham in race for Brazilian star

North London duo of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set for a bidding war to land the services of one of the best strikers in Europe.

Hulk has been in top for the Russian giants this season, having notched up 20 goals in 30 appearances and this has attracted interest from scouts from both clubs.

 

The Gunners are keen on adding a top-class striker this summer, having failed to provide targetman Olivier Giroud with quality competition in the second half of the league campaign.

 

On the other hand, Spurs have seen star striker Roberto Soldado fail to adapt to English football, while Jermain Defoe was sold out to MLS outfit Toronto FC during the winter transfer window.
