Stephane Mbia open to Liverpool switch
Queens Park Rangers holding midfielder Stephane Mbia is reportedly open to a move to Liverpool during the summer transfer window, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The Cameroonian international, who is currently plying his trade on loan at Sevilla, has impressed during his spell in the La Liga.
Reports earlier had revealed that Merseyside duo of Liverpool and Everton were interested in securing his services this summer, and the 27-year-old now is open to playing Champions League football with the former, come the next campaign.
"Playing in the Champions League, that's my goal," The former Marseille star said."Liverpool? For me, it is a pride. Liverpool are a great team that will play the Champions League. Everton is also a great team, but I cannot say what will happen in the future."
Mbia has scored 3 goals in 18 La Liga games for Sevilla this season.
