Arsenal in talks with German enforcer

Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Real Madrid over the transfer of star midfielder Sami Khedira this summer, according to The Mirror.

The talented German international featured for the La Liga giants in their Champions League win over arch rivals Atletico Madrid last weekend, following a long layout with an injury.

The Mirror claims that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on adding a top-class holding midfielder this summer, and the German star ranks high in the shortlist for the North London club.

It is also understood that the arrival of Sami Khedira could force Mikel Arteta to find pastures elsewhere, with his first-team status likely to be doubt.
