Tottenham to push for Adam Lallana transfer

Newly appointed Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to hijack Liverpool's move to sign 26-year-old attacking midfielder Adam Lallana. The England international is set to quit Southampton this summer.
Pochettino yesterday arrived as Spurs' newly appointed manager and is expected to raid his former club and bring some of his best players along with him.
Adam Lallana will be a member of England's World Cup 2014 squad in Brazil and is believed to have told his agent that he is ready to leave Southampton in favour of a move elsewhere.
Liverpool were in pole position to secure Lallana's coveted signature but now Tottenham appear to be have pushed ahead into the lead for deal completion.
