Ciro Immobile to join Borussia Dortmund

Torino and Italy international Ciro Immobile will sign for German club Borussia Dortmund this week. The 24-year-old will sign a four year contract with BVB.

Having scored 22 goals for Torino last season, German giants Dortmund were monitoring Immobile closely and had made him one of their priority transfer targets for the summer.

After Italy's friendly match against Ireland, Immobile told reporters of a move to Dortmund: "It’s done - I said it a short while ago. All that's waiting to be done is for me to sign the contract."
