Sunderland to sign Jordon Mutch

Sunderland are close to sealing a move for Cardiff City midfielder Jordon Mutch. The Black Cats have already agreed a fee with relegated side Cardiff City.

The 22-year-old proved to be in inspired form last season for Cardiff but his goals and good performances were not able to guarantee the club's safety. The 6 foot 2 midfielder is now set to join Gus Poyet's side.

The England under-21 international scored an impressive 7 Premier League goals in 31 games in the 2013-2014 season and this form has attracted Sunderland into making a firm offer for the player.
