Ivan Rakitic to complete Barcelona transfer

Barcelona are set to make a move for Croatian international midfielder Ivan Rakitic for 20 million Euros. The Spanish side have agreed a deal with Sevilla to sign the 26-year-old.

Barcelona are busy revamping their side ahead of the new campaign, after a disappointing season where the Catalan giants went trophyless. It is understood that Rakitic could be signed as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who is on the cusp of a transfer to Chelsea.

Rakitic has just two years remaining on his deal at Sevilla and is to join German goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen at the Camp Nou for next season.
