Atletico Madrid line up move for Tottenham forward Soldado

Roberto Soldado is one of Diego Simeone's top targets to replace the outgoing forward Diego Costa. Chelsea have moved a step closer to securing the signing of Costa on a 40 million Euro deal.

Diego Simeone has been busy trying to recruit a suitable replacement and Tottenham forward Roberto Soldado is reportedly available for a cut price 14 million Euros.

Soldado struggled in his first season in Premier League football, but the club have faith that the former Valencia man will reverse his previous poor fortunes.

Despite that belief in Soldado, Spurs could also sell as they are actively looking to sign one new striker themselves this summer.

Atletico Madrid will make their first bid for Soldado after the end of the World Cup tournament.
