PSG confirm David Luiz signing

Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed the signing of Brazilian defender David Luiz from Chelsea.

Luiz had agreed to join the French champions from Chelsea for a fee in the region of £50m following weeks of speculation over his future, but a formal confirmation was yet to be made.

This has now been cleared by Les Parisiens who have announced signing of Luiz on a five-year deal on their official website.

The talented centre-back will be the most expensive defender in history following his transfer in the upcoming transfer window.
