Southampton to appoint Ronald Koeman
Southampton will make a move to sign Ronald Koeman as their new manager as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino. The Saints had been linked with a host of names but have decided to bring in the experienced Dutchman.
Former Valenca, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord coach Koeman has agreed a four year contract to move to St Mary's and the 51-year-old is delighted to have been given his chance in the Premier League.
Southampton had a host of names on their shortlist, with Fulham coach Felix Magath and former England manager Steve McClaren amongst the names linked with the vacant job; but have apparently plumped for the Dutch legend Koeman instead.
