Liverpool end Alberto Moreno pursuit

Liverpool have reportedly decided to pull the plug on a deal to sign Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno, according to El Correa.

The talented left-back had been linked with a switch to the Reds in recent weeks, with reports emerging that the Spain international had agreed on a deal in principle to join the Merseyside giants.

However, El Correa claims that the two clubs were somewhere apart in agreeing a transfer fee for the player, with Sevilla demanding at least £20m for their star defender.

Moreno was part of Spain's initial 30-man squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil.
