Real Madrid plan shock bid for Liverpool starlet

Real Madrid will reportedly make a move for Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling, should Angel di Maria leave the club this summer.

Di Maria had a great season for the La Liga giants last season, as he helped them win a historic 10th Champions League title in May. In spite of the success, di Maria has once again been linked with a summer exit from Los Blancos, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City interested in his services.

According to The Mirror, the European champions could turn their attention to Reds starlet Raheem Sterling, should di Maria opt to exit the Berbabeu during the summer transfer window.

Sterling had a great season for the Merseyside outfit, and has been one of the bright spots in England's dismal World Cup campaign in Brazil.
