Chelsea look set to make a summer offer to sign one of Germany's best midfielders.
The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on signing up another midfielder this summer, following the confirmation of the arrival of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona earlier this month.
According to The People, the Portuguese manager is a huge fan of Real Madrid's Sami Khedira, and could be tempted to make a move for his services in the summer.
Wih the German international in the last year of his contract with Los Blancos, it is understood that the European champions could allow the player's transfer rather than losing him on a free next summer.
Arsenal have also shown interest in signing Khedira in recent weeks.
