Real Madrid make formal offer for Mateo Kovacic

Real Madrid have reportedly made a summer offer for Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The talented star was in top form for the Nerazzurri last season, and has attracted interest from a host of clubs in recent weeks.

Reports had earlier claimed that the player's agent was in talks with Los Blancos over a transfer last week. The European champions have been tracking the Crotian international at the World Cup finals in Brazil and Marca claims that the La Liga giants have made a formal offer in the region of £15.9m-£20m inorder to secure his services.
