Hull City sign Jake Livermore
Hull City sign Jake Livermore
Hull City have completed the signing Jake Livermore from Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old had a great season on loan with the Tigers last season, as they finished runners-up to Arsenal in the FA Cup, and reports had claimed that manager Steve Bruce was keen to tie up a permanent deal for the Spurs midfielder.
It is understood that a deal has been finalized between the two clubs, and Hull will sign Livermore this summer for an undisclosed club-record fee.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my season here on loan and I firmly believe that this club will keep going from strength to strength," Livermore told Hull City's official website."I made my feelings known that I wanted to come here permanently and once the two clubs had agreed the fee, it was very straightforward."
Livermore notched up three goals in 41 appearances for Hull last season.
