Adam Lallana set to sign for Liverpool

Southampton midfield sensation Adam Lallana looks set to join Liverpool this summer, after having being give permission to have a medical at the Merseyside giants.

The 26-year-old has been constantly linked with a summer switch way from the Saints, following an excellent season with the South Coast club in the Premier league last season, which earned him a place in the England national side.

Sky Sports claims that the talented playmaker has arrived at Liverpool to have a medical ahead of his potential switch to the club.It is understood that the two clubs have agreed on a fee of around £25m for the player's transfer.

Lallana's teammate Luke Shaw completed a £30m switch to Manchester United on Friday.
