Pepe Reina will remain at Liverpool

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina looks set to remain with the club beyond the summer transfer window, as per his agent.

The talented shot-stopper made a season-long loan switch to Napoli last season, as he fell out-of-favour with manager Brendan Rodgers, following the arrival of Simon Mignolet from Sunderland.

Reports had suggested that Reina could make a return to the Naples outfit on loan for a second straight season, but his agent Manuel Garcia has ruled out the player's exit from Anfield this summer.

"I know rumours are circulating about Reina's future. But I can confirm that next season Pepe will play for Liverpool," Manuel Garcia said. "Reina will respect his deal with the English side."

Reina's current deal with Liverpool expires in June 2016.
