Di Maria to Manchester United?

Manchester United are the frontrunners to sign La Liga superstar Angel Di Maria.

The Red Devils are plotting to buy the talented midfielder for £48 million. They have made an initial offer of £40 million.

European champions Real Madrid were earlier not accepting any bid less than the £50 million mark but are now reportedly ready to settle for £48 million for the Argentine.

Real Madrid are desperate to sign Colombian star James Rodriguez and are willing to pay what French giants Monaco demands for him.

Ashley Young, Nani, Antonio Valencia did not impress last season and Wilfried Zaha is eyeing an exit from the Red Devils.

If Van Gaal does succeed in signing the Argentine, Di Maria will be his third major signing after Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera.

Arsenal too want to sign Di Maria but are not willing to spend the quoted amount for him.
