PSG lead race to sign Man Utd target

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considered front-runners to sign Real Madrid star Angel di Maria during the summer transfer window.

The Argentina international has been constantly linked with a switch away from the Bernabeu this summer, with Los Blancos closing in on the signing of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco.

Manchester United were believed to be close to sealing a deal for the 26-year-old, but Madrid-based publication AS claims that Les Parisiens are ready to part with £48m to push through the deal.
