Liverpool to sign Dejan Lovren

Liverpool have reportedly had a £16m bid accepted by Southampton for defender Dejan Lovren.

The Croatia international has been strongly associated with a switch to the Merseyside giants in recent weeks, and it had been reported that the Saints had rebuffed an initial offer for the talented centre-back.

However, The Express claims that both clubs have come to agreement over a £16m fee for the 25-year-old, who will sign a four-year deal at Anfield in the next few days.

Liverpool are also reckoned to be closing in on the signing of Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers.
