Arsenal close in on Star Keeper

Arsenal are reportedly inching closer to sealing a deal for one of best shot-stoppers from the La Liga, according to The Mirror.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be keen on signing a top-class goalkeeper to provide sufficient competition to current number one Wojciech Szczesny.

The Mirror claims that the Gunners could sign Real Madrid's veteran keeper Iker Casillas on a free this summer, with the La Liga giants on the cusp of securing the services of Costa Rican hero Keylor Navas.

It is understood that Wenger is keen on utilizing the 33-year-old's experience in the big games next season.
