Leicester City chasing Islam Slimani

Leicester City have tabled an 8 million euro bid for Algerian international striker Islam Slimani. The forward impressed at the World Cup for his country and scored 2 goals during the tournament.
The Foxes are looking for a prolific goalscorer ahead of their first season back in the Premier League and Slimani is apparently available for transfer.
Slimani played in just 26 league games last season but did score 8 goals, however the Portuguese club are ready to sell and take advantage of Slimani's excellent World Cup showing.
The striker is also an option for fellow Premier League teams Burnley and Aston Villa, but Leicester are in pole position to wrap up a deal next week.
