Everton eye loan deal for Christian Atsu?
Everton have put their plans to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on halt and have instead decided to move for yet another Blues' player, with Ghana international winger Christian Atsu set for a loan switch to Goodison Park.
Christian Atsu had a good World Cup for Ghana with some commenting that the youngster happened to be his country's best player at the tournament in Brazil.
With Atsu proving to be one of the most in demand young players in Europe right now, a host of teams from Germany and France are believed to have contacted Chelsea regarding a loan switch.
However, Chelsea are thankful for the time Lukaku spent at the Toffees last season and are confident Atsu can gain the Premier League first team experience needed at Everton that would push the Ghanaian forward for a long term future at Jose Mourinho's side.
Atsu spent last season on loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, who also are apparently in the race for his signature.
