Adebayor misses season start

Emmanuel Adebayor is to miss the start of the Premier League season. Manny picked up the injury during pre-season in Austria. Wenger confirmed he would miss the game against Ajax in the Amsterdam Cup.

The player will be given time to recover and miss the start of the season. Against Lazio both Eduardo da Silva and Nicklas Bendtner scored, and both players will be looking forward to taking their opportunity alongside Robin van Persie in the Premiership opener.
