Arsenal in talks with So'ton midfielder

Arsenal have reportedly opened up talks with Southampton over the potential transfer of Morgan Schneiderlin to the Emirates this summer.

The Gunners are understood to have agreed a fee for Saints full-back Calum Chambers, with reports claiming that the talented youngster has undergone a medical at the club.

According to The Metro, the North London club have followed it up by having initial negotiations with the Saints over the possibility of signing the French international.

Schneiderlin is believed to be keen on a summer switch away from St.Mary's, following the sale of star players in Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw and Rickie Lambert this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in signing the French midfielder.
