Man Utd boss Van Gaal ignores Mourinho's Shaw comments

Whilst Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho seems to be trying to start the mind games early on with Man Utd counterpart Louis Van Gaal; the Dutchman has decided to contact Mourinho directly regarding comments attributed to the Portuguese coach regarding the transfer fee paid for Luke Shaw.

The England international left back joined Manchester United for a reported 27 million GBP and Chelsea slammed the fee that United paid for the left back, telling reporters that paying 120,000 GBP to Shaw a week would have "killed" Chelsea.

Louis Van Gaal intends to speak with Mourinho regarding these comments at some time in the near future.

"I don't think I have to discuss things in the media, it's better to discuss it with Jose," van Gaal said.
