Derby set to bring in Chelsea youngster Ake

Jose Mourinho has been playing Nathan Ake in Chelsea’s pre-season campaign but the youngster has caught the eye of Steve McLaren’s side who want to bolster their midfield and replace the injured George Thorne in midfield.

Derby County are seen as the championship promotion chasers and the 19 year old is a versatile midfielder and subsequently he fits right in with the plans of Steve McLaren for the upcoming campaign.

Jose Mourinho has kept the youngster at Chelsea ever since he signed the Dutch winger as to make sure that the youngster qualifies as home grown.



There is a good realtionship that Chelsea and Derby County share; it is therefore no surprise that Derby County might just take Nathan Ake on loan this season just like they took Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford on loan last season.
