Martin Kelly to join Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are to complete a move for Liverpool full back Martin Kelly. The popular defender will make a transfer to London in a deal worth a reported 2.5 million pounds.

With the arrival of Javier Manquillo alongside Alberto Moreno, it is understood Kelly is no longer required as a part of Brendan Rodgers' first team.

The defender is hopeful that a transfer to Selhurst Park will guarantee more regular first team football.

Martin Kelly had also attracted the interest of Hull City, but it appears Palace are set to win the race for his signature.
