Arsenal target to have QPR medical?

Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas is reportedly set to have a medical with Queens Park Rangers, according to Goal.com.

The 24-year-old had a good stint during the World Cup finals in Brazil, as he helped Chile reach the quarter final stage.

Vargas had been associated with a temporary switch to the Premier League this summer, with Arsenal and Sunderland interested in his services in recent weeks.

However, a report from Goal.com claims that the Hoops have stolen a march on their rivals and have agreed a permanent deal with Napoli for the Chilean international.

In addition to this, Vargas is believed to be on his way to London to have a medical before signing a long-term deal at the West London club.
