Chelsea in talks to sign Roma striker

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on making a late swoop for AS Roma striker Mattia Destro, according to a report.

The Blues manager is understood to be keen on signing a genuine striker to accompany Diego Costa upfront at the club.

With Fernando Torres still in search of his old form, TMW reports that the Blues could make a move for Destro before the conclusion of the transfer window.

It is also believed that Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini was in the English capital over the weekend to hold talks with the West London club regarding Destro's potential transfer.
