Marko Marin completes Fiorentina loan switch

Chelsea have confirmed the departure of winger Marko Marin to Fiorentina on a season-long loan deal.

The Serbian-born German international had failed to cement his place in the Blues squad under successive managers, and was linked with another temporary switch away from Stamford Bridge.

A statement from the club's official twitter account revealed that the 25-year-old will ply his trade with Fiorentina for the season.

"Marko Marin has finalised his loan move to Fiorentina this afternoon…” The Tweet read.

The 25-year-old went goalless in 28 games for Sevilla on loan last season.
