Man Utd to make surprise move for Joe Allen?

Manchester United are reportedly pursuing Liverpool defensive midfielder Joe Allen. The former Swansea City player is currently playing behind Steven Gerrard as first choice holding midfielder.

It is being reported that Louis van Gaal is considering a surprise 20 million pounds transfer for the 24-year-old.

With Allen having only recently joined Liverpool and still has three years remaining on his contract at Anfield. Therefore, it is reported that Liverpool could demand as much as 25 million pounds for the player.
