Swansea City sign James Demetriou

James Demetriou has joined Swansea City on a two year deal from Nottingham Forest. The 19-year-old's deal at Forest had expired and Garry Monk has moved quickly to wrap up a deal.

Demetriou has told the press he is happy to join the Welsh club: "It has taken a long time to get sorted but it feels good and I just want to get my head down now and focus on the season ahead.

"Swansea are a Premier League club, they play a great brand of football and they are a team that gives young players an opportunity.
