Arsenal face battle to sign Barca starlet

Arsenal are reportedly keen on securing the services of Barca youngster Munir El Haddadi before the transfer deadline on September 1.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is eager to sign up the talented striker, who has a buy-out clause of just £9.4m in his current contract.

However, the North London club could find it hard to convince Munir into joining the club, with the Catalan giants keen on offering a new long-term deal on a higher wage structure.

Munir announced himself in style as he scored a goal on his La Liga debut against Elche last week.
