Benjamin Stambouli to join Tottenham

Tottenham will agree a transfer for French under 21 star Benjamin Stambouli tomorrow from Montpellier. The defensive midfielder will sign a four year contract at White Hart Lane.

Having missed out on a deal to sign Morgan Schneiderlin, Tottenham switched their attentions to signing talented youngster Stambouli. The 24-year-old will move to Spurs for a fee of around 7 million euros.

Stambouli has spent 11 years at Montpellier, coming through the youth ranks all the way to the club's first team.
