Radamel Falcao joins Manchester United

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao completed a last gasp loan transfer deal to join Man Utd today. The player arrives on a one year deal from French club AS Monaco.
Falcao flew on a private jet into Manchester at approximately 5pm today and then underwent a medical at United's training ground before agreeing personal terms at 11pm this evening.
A fee then had to be agreed with French club Monaco and the deal hit a hitch when the Ligue 1 giants increased their fee at the last minute.
Despite that, and after the sale of Danny Welbeck to Arsenal, Falcao then finalised his move to United.
Louis van Gaal told the press: "When a player of Radamel Falcao's calibre becomes available it's an opportunity not to be missed."
