QPR want Hugo Almeida

Queen Park Rangers are reportedly keen on signing up Hugo Almeida on a free transfer, according to The Mirror.

The experienced Portuguese international is currently a free-agent after leaving Besiktas this summer, and is available to be signed outside the transfer window.

A report from The Mirror claims that the Hoops are keen on signing Hugo Almeida, following their failure to sign Toronto striker Jermaine Defoe during the recently concluded transfer window.

Almeida scored 15 goals in 33 appearances for the Turkish outfit last season.
