Man Utd and Spurs join race for Barca starlet

Premier League duo Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to have joined the pursuit for Barcelona's highly-rated youngster Adama Traore.

The 18-year-old, who has been with the Catalan giants for over 10 years, is considered as one of the brightest prospects in European football alongside fellow Spaniard Munir El-Haddadi.

Having seen El-Haddadi make a sensational debut with the Spanish giants, many believe that Traore has the potential to better his compatriot in years to come.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Barca are unwilling to sanction the sale of the their youth star, but United and Spurs will both test the water with bids this January.

Stoke City have been associated with a loan move for the 18-year-old.
