Arsenal to make shock move for Uruguayan defender
Arsenal are reportedly believed to be keen on signing free-agent Diego Lugano, according to Fichajes.net.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be looking at options to fill the void left by Thomas Vermalen, who left the club for Barcelona this summer.
Fichajes.net claims that the North London outfit could make a move to sign Lugano, who has previous Premier League experience with West Bromwich Albion.
The 33-year-old was part of the Uruguayan squad that was knocked out at the group stages of the World Cup finals in Brazil.
