Moyes wants trophies

David Moyes has said that he is looking to bring silverware to Everton as early as this season. Moyes is preparing for Everton's Carling Cup quarter-final clash with West Ham and is eager to bring the Carling Cup to Goodison Park.

"I am happy with that," said Moyes, who has been at Goodison Park for five and a half years. "Nobody wants it more than me for the team to win something.

"Every manager before me has struggled to do it for a long time here because of the quality of teams we have to play.

"It has been too long for me as well. I am ambitious and want to be in as many cup finals as possible.

"But if the draws go against you it can be a hard ask. West Ham is a tough call but hopefully we can get through."
