Chelsea in pole position to sign PSV starlet

Premier League leaders Chelsea are reportedly leading Liverpool in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali, according to The Star.

The Belgian international has been strongly associated with a move away from the Eredivisie giants in recent months, following his denial to sign a contract extension at the club.

The Star claims that Blues are closing in on the services of the 18-year-old, who has put up a string of impressive performances for PSV over the past year.

Chelsea play away at Maribor in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
