Arsenal midfielder joins Charlton Athletic on loan

Arsenal's out-of-favour midfielder Francis Coquelin has joined Charlton Athletic on a 28-day loan.

The French midfielder has failed to make an appearance for the Gunners in the Premier League this season, and has decided to join Charlton on a temporary basis in search of regular first-team football.

Coquelin will wear the number 12 shirt and is in line to feature against Leeds United at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old has made 44 appearances for the Gunners so far.
