North Londoners to go Dutch

Arsenal and Tottenham are weighing up a January transfer move for Ajax's international goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg. The keeper has played over 100 times for his club.
Spurs have had severe goalkeeper problems this season with several poor performances from Paul Robinson in goal, and are expected to put a bid in for the Dutch international. The 6' 5" keeper is expected to cost the London club between £5 million and £6 million.
Stekelenburg is in competition with Edwin van der Sar in Holland for the number 1 international spot, but Stekelenburg is considered by many in Europe as the best up and coming keeper in football.
