Zokora: Spurs getting better
Didier Zokora has admitted that Tottenham's confidence is returning and pointed to Spurs' 2-1 victory over Man City at the weekend as an indicator of the improved confidence in the North Londoners' side.
Zokora quipped: City is a great team and played well, but we knew we needed three points because when we looked at the table, it's not too good. It was an important moment.
"It was a physical game, City put a lot of pressure on and we didn't make any mistakes.
"They had one chance and scored one goal and after that we pushed forward, pressed and we really wanted to win. When I look at the table now we're up to 13th and we're happier.
"The fans give us so much, they motivate us. I'm happy to win 1-0, 2-1 or 3-0, I just want to win. To beat City was fantastic. I looked at everyone the next morning and every player was happy and we're all now confident going to Portsmouth."
