Man Utd to offload Juan Mata

Manchester United will reportedly allow the sale of midfielder Juan Mata in the January transfer window.

The Spain international has failed to cement his place in the first-team line-up ever since the arrival of summer signing Angel di Maria.

According to The Express, the Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is keen on offloading the former Chelsea star, should any club match their asking price of £20m.

It is also understood that Atletico Madrid and Juventus are interested in the player's services.

Mata has scored three goals in nine games for United this season.
