Xherdan Shaqiri linked with Liverpool

Liverpool are to make a January transfer bid for Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri. The player is out of favour at current club Bayern Munich.

According to reports, Liverpool will bid around 20 million euros for the winger. Shaqiri has so far found first team opportunities limited behind the likes of Mario Gotze. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is confident that a deal will be agreed for the Swiss star.
