Arsenal interested in Marcelo Brozovic

Arsenal are reportedly tracking the progress of Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic, with a view to a January offer for his services.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is believed to have deployed scouts to watch the talented midfielder in action during his nation's 1-1 draw against Italy.

According to The Mirror, Wenger will look to sign a long-term replacement for club-captain Mikel Arteta in the upcoming transfer window.

The report adds that the North London outfit could make a bid in the region of £5m for the holding midfielder in the New Year. 

Arsenal host league rivals Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
