Aston Villa chase Lewis Holtby

Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby is a target for Aston Villa. Paul Lambert is hoping to agree a deal for the German centre midfielder.

Aston Villa are facing life without Fabian Delph as the midfielder is reportedly seeking a transfer to either Liverpool or Everton next summer. Holtby has struggled at Spurs since his arrival from Schalke 04 and had spent time on loan at Fulham last season. Aston Villa are ready to pay a fee of around 8 million pounds to wrap up a deal for the midfielder.
