Mile Jedinak on Newcastle transfer radar

Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak is a surprise target for Newcastle United. The tough tackling defensive midfielder has had yet another successful campaign in 2014/15.

Newcastle, who currently lie in fifth place in the Premier League, are looking for midfield reinforcements ahead of the second half of the league season. Manager Alan Pardew is seeking Jedinak's signing and is confident a deal can be wrapped up for the Australian international during January. Jedinak scored a goal in today's Crystal Palace victory over Liverpool.
