Liverpool interested in Jackson Martinez

Liverpool are reportedly planning a move for Porto striker Jackson Martinez in the upcoming transfer window.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is understood to have found himself in a major crisis following his side's third consecutive defeat in the Premier League at the hands of Crystal Palace on Sunday. 

The Star claims that the Merseysiders will consider a move for the Colombian international, as they look to strengthen their front-line in the New Year.

Martinez has notched up 12 goals in 16 games for the Primeira Liga giants this season.
